Escape to the tranquil town of Kampong Thom and the temples of Sambor Prey Kuk. Depart from the busy capital city, Phnom Penh, and travel west to Kampong Thom. Stop at Kampong Cham, a sleepy riverside town with charming colonial buildings and a laid-back feel. As you continue the drive, enjoy typical the countryside scenes of ox carts, farmers and small villages which line the road.
Arrive in Kampong Thom and head to the pre-Angkorian temples of Sambor Prey Kuk for a guided tour on bike or on foot.
