FCC Angkor Hotel - Siem Reap

Who should go?
Our advice: FCC Angkor is ideal for travelers looking for a touch of style and pampering whilst in Siem Reap. The hotel has a lively buzz but does not get too noisy. Parents traveling with children can request for extra beds and cots, however, FCC Angkor does not have special kids-friendly facilities.

When to go?
Siem Reap has two distinctive seasons: Rainy from June to October and dry from November to May. Traveling during the rainy season has its benefits as the temple moats are full, making for great photos. The rains are usually in the afternoon and last 2-3 hours. The dry season can be very dusty, but easier for walking through the jungle terrain around the temples. The temperature is fairly steady 30-35 Celsius during the day time, although November to January often has cooler temperatures.

Where is it?
Overlooking the Siem Reap River next to the Royal Residence, FCC Angkor enjoys a central location in Siem Reap town. It is a short stroll to the city center and a 10-minute drive to the magnificent Angkor Wat and Siem Reap International Airport.

What's not to be missed?
A scrumptious breakfast on the breezy terrace. A Cambodian meal of Fish Amok or Cambodian Curry in the FCC Angkor Kitchen. A signature hot stone massage at Visaya Spa. A walk through the exhibitions of the FCC Permanent Collection. A swim in the pool after a day of temple exploration. Martinis by the reflection pool at sunset. Sunrise over Angkor Wat.

What's cooking?
One of the most popular dining establishments in Siem Reap, the FCC Angkor Kitchen is favored for its scrumptious cuisine and casual chic ambiance. The restaurant and bar features an extensive menu of Western and Asian delights as well as a superb wine list. Guests looking to sample the textures and flavors of Cambodian cuisine will not be disappointed with the Kitchen's excellent interpretations of Fish Amok, Cambodian Curry, Papaya Salad and Fried Vegetable Spring Roll. An alfresco meal on the terrace, which overlooks the Siem Reap River and bustling streets, completes the FCC experience.
