Day 1 - Arrive in Siem Reap (D)

Upon arriving in Siem Reap, you will be met by your guide, who will transfer you to your luxury hotel. A Khmer massage will soothe weary muscles and refresh you after your flight. Afterwards, you'll be off to begin your journey with an trip into the center of the former Khmer capital. Your afternoon will be spent at the Bayon, a fortress-like temple decorated in an astounding array of bas-reliefs. Then it's off to the Angkor Museum to learn more about the history of the area followed by dinner at one of Siem Reap's best restaurants.

Day 2 - Siem Reap (B,L,D)

You'll have a full morning at Angkor Wat where your guide will take you through the galleries to show you their stunning bas-reliefs, which depict scenes from the epic Ramayana and the Churning of the Ocean of Milk. You will then soar above the temples in a helicopter for a dazzling view of the temple complex followed by lunch at a fabulous restaurant which supports a local charity. This afternoon head to the jungle-covered temple of Ta Phrom and nearby temple of Banteay Kdei. A special dinner performance of Apsara dance caps off this incredible day in Siem Reap.

Day 3 - Siem Reap (B,D)

This morning you'll delve into the forest on a visit to Banteay Srei, an elaborately carved pink sandstone temple known as the citadel of women. On the way back to town, stop in a local village to witness the traditional way of making palm wine and palm sugar, popular local treats. Following a midday rest, take a boat ride on the Tonle Sap lake through a floating village and among flooded forests. The charming wooden boat cruises along the waters while champagne and snacks are served.

Day 4 - Depart Siem Reap (B,L)

Journey through local villages on the outskirts of town to the Artisans d'Angkor Silk Farm, where you can observe the creation of silk, from the growing of silk worms to the spinning and dying process. A special farewell picnic is served amid the beautiful rice fields before transferring to the airport for your onward flight.
