Siem Reap Cycling Tour - 3 Days / 2 Nights

Siem Reap Cycling Tour - 3 Days / 2 Nights - Overview
Siem Reap - Angkor Complex - Banteay Srey - Rolous - Kampong Phluck

Cycling amongst the ruins of the Angkor Temples is a truly magical experience.  Wind through leafy streets where temples peek out from behind towering trees.  Venture to the countryside to discover solitary temples surrounded by endless rice paddies.  Embrace the natural beauty and man-made wonders as you cruise silently through the streets and villages around Siem Reap on this cycling journey.

Start with an exploration of the main section of the Angkor Archeological Park. Here, the roads are wide and the temples abundant.  Stop to explore wonders such as they face-covered towers of Bayon and the jungle encased Ta Phrom.  Your expert guide will help unlock the mystery of these ruins as they explain the history of their origin.

Be prepared to be left speechless as you explore Angkor Wat, the world's largest religious monument.  As you approach this temple on your bike, the details begin to reveal themselves as well as the sheer enormity of this magnificent building.  From there, head to one of the area's smallest temples, the pink sandstone Banteay Srey whose intricate carvings are some of Cambodia's best preserved.

Visit the oldest set of ruins in the region at Rolous Group, whose temples seem to be on the verge of collapse.  Continue this journey back in time as you cruise the waters of Kampong Phluck village on the Tonle Sap lake.  This stilted village is home to local fishermen and their families who live in serenity amongst a petrified mangrove forest.

Beyond the temples, traveling on two wheels will allow you experience the local Khmer life as you cycle through remote villages and along side roads.  Stop to speak to friendly locals who come out to great you, or to enjoy a refreshing fresh picked mango.  We think you'll agree, there is no better way to experience Siem Reap than by bicycle!
