Cambodia Soft Adventure - 10 Days / 9 Nights

Cambodia Soft Adventure - 10 Days / 9 Nights - Overview
Battambang - Siem Reap - Angkor Complex - Beng Mealea - Kampong Phluck - Kampong Thom - Phnom Penh - Sihanoukville - Ream - Kbal Chay

Cambodia is a country so rich in history that to truly enjoy it takes time. It has overcome recent civil war with incredible resilience and boasts some of the most spectacular jungle and religious monuments in Asia.

This tour has been developed so that you can take in all these sights over a period of 10 days whilst engaging in plenty of activities such as cycling, trekking and swimming.

Arrive in Cambodia in Battambang, a sleepy riverside town, where a tour of the countryside is the perfect introduction to the country's natural beauty and deep-rooted religious beliefs. Travel by boat across the Tonle Sap Lake to Siem Reap where you will take in some of the country's remarkable temples.

In addition to exploring highlights such as Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm and Bayon you will go further afield to remote temples such as Beng Melea. Cycle to ancient Rolous Group temples and embark on a boat journey to a floating village.

As you head toward the capital, stop in Kampong Thom, home to the ruins of Sambor Prey Kuk.  Pre-dating Angkor Wat, these magnificent tours will be explored by bicycle- winding along dirt lanes in the lush jungle. A visit to Phnom Suntok provides sweeping views of the beautiful countryside.

Continue to Phnom Penh for a tour of capital city's many historic sites before heading south to Cambodia's premier beach resort, Sihanoukville. Of course, any trip to Cambodia would not be complete without seeing its spectacular jungles. For that, you will be taken to Ream National Park, resplendent in its natural glory, for a guided tour followed by a boat ride to the beaches of nearby Koh Sam Pouch.

We have made plenty of time to cycle around Cambodia's countryside also. Its quiet, rural roads offer stunning vistas alongside more exciting features such as the rapids of Toek Chhou, making bicycles the perfect way to see the landscape.

You will see all these and more on this extensive journey of the region's most glorious sites, completing this truly unforgettable experience.
